I recieved my package in a timely manor and everything works quite well :) I got the pink T3 Mini and it works really well. It heats up quickly and makes my hair noticably shinier and straight. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
This is a replacement product for the exactly same product which after 1.5 yrs and numerous falls on the tiled floor (but still working properly)cracked and the plates started coming off. It's a great product, and the shipping was very fast too.
I bought this flat back in august 2008. Since then I've been wearing my hair straight. It is very easy to use. Does not snag. Just one pass on each section and I'm done. I have a lot of hair and it used to take me 2 hours to flat iron with my old blue solano flat iton. With this one, it only takes me 30 minutes. I also live in hot, humid, rain drizzles everyday kinda weather. With my old flat iron, within an hour my hair would be frizzy. With this one, it last me one week! Unbelievable. I highly recommend. You can straightened, flip, and do spiral curls.
This product is worth every penny, maybe even more. I have natural, coarse African American hair. Once I made the decision not to relax my hair, I knew I needed a good flat iron & the FHI fits the bill. It just arrived in the mail today, & I used it for the first time with straight, shiny, & healthy-looking results. That is due largely in part to the flat iron itself, & then to the product I use (body butter available at [..], they sell hair butter too, but I haven't tried that particular product). Because of the plates curves, I was able to easily curl my hair while straightening it.
I bought this product after reading several reviews about the CHI, FHI, Solia etc, and this one seemed to be the most for your money.
The only draw-back is the fact that there is no temperature setting, so it gets very hot! That is good for me because of the texture of my hair, but if you have fine hair already, you may do better with a temperature controlled flat iron.
I cannot attest to the flat irons durability since I just got it today, but the materials & production dont look shabby at all in my opinion.
