This dryer works really well. It dries hair fast while protecting your hair, but is very hot. If you have a sensitive scalp, it may be too hot for you.


For the reputation and cost of this hair dryer, it's not worth it. I have searched high and low for a good dryer because I have very thick hair and I got excited about this product. It is not worth the money at all. I returned it, and went back to using my 20.99 special from Target, which actually works better than the Chi.

It is light weight with an extra long cord. I have naturally curly (frizzy) hair and this product allows me to blow out my hair straight with relative ease.


I never really believed that a blow dryer could make a difference, and I kept buying the cheaper drug store dryers. My last one was the Revlon Tourmaline dryer, the one that was touted to be as good as the T3. Well, it was OK, but I still required at least 20 minutes of drying, then smoothing with my FHI iron.

When I saw that FHI had a pro tourmaline dryer, I figured I had to at least try it, since I loved their flat iron so much. All I can say is WOW WOW WOW. This dryer is so far superior to anything else I have ever used. My shoulder length thick curly frizzy hair is dry and perfectly styled (with the help of a round ceramic brush) in 15 minutes, no need for my iron anymore. I really can't believe my hair can get this smooth and shiny with only a dryer, but I LOVE IT. So it cuts at least 10 minutes out of my dry/style time.

This dryer is a bit heavier than my drugstore Revlon, but since I'm not holding it as long, it doesn't really matter to me. The noise level is way way down too, I've never heard a dryer this quiet, so peaceful.

If you ever considered weather a pro dryer was worth the money, the answer is YES definitely. I hope this dryer lasts for years, but if it dies I'm running to buy a new one.

This is my new best friend, no more "Bad Hair Days"

I love this dryer. I have naturally curly hair that I straighten daily. It cut my blowdrying time in half. I also have less frizz and my hair is more managable. Great product!


I wanted to buy the best dryer ever. I did a lot of research on Chi and Fhi first, and decided to go for the FHI model. My hair looks shinier, dries faster and I can stylish it easily. It was worth every penny!

This is my second CHI flat iron and I can't do without them. They are no doubt the best flat iron I have ever used. My stylist uses the same flat iron and you can really tell the difference in your hair when using this iron. Also, Farouk will guarantee the iron if something happens to it, even after the warranty has expired. The only complaint I have is there is no auto shut off, and there have been times when I have turned on the iron to heat up, and then did not use it at the last minue and forgot to turn the iron off. Thus it stayed on for hours until I got home. Overall, I am waiting for my first flat iron to be returned from Farouk and I will have two. Truly the best flat iron I have ever used and will continue to use the product. The day my first flat iron died on me, I immediately started looking for another one. My hair is very thick and wavy and this iron will straighten it out. Well worth the money to get the quality in these irons. I think the wider flat iron is a little better when it comes to really wavy, thick hair. I also use the blue CHI Nano blow dryer and I would not use another dryer, it is that good.


I just received this and have tried many flat irons. This one got hot in record time and straightened my hair way faster and smoother than the other brands I have tried. I think I am going to LOVE it!!


When I got this flat iron, because it was so small, I doubted it would do anything, because my hair is really frizzy and pretty curly, although it isnt tight curls. Anyway, the first time I used it my hair was perfectly straight. I was so surprised! The color is beautiful as well. The only complaint I have is that on the side of one of the iron plates, the paint is starting to come off, which is disapointing because it is only 5 months old. Over all this is a great product.

This was a present requested by my daughter for her birthday. Its excellent reputation caused her to chose this brand. I researched various products before arriving at a decision. Both she and I liked the fact that this particular choice came with a stand. This iron heats up quickly and becomes very hot. The stand helps protect counters and stabilizes the iron. A bag is also handy for traveling. I bought the hair product to help protect hair from heat as well. The order came very quickly and the iron was perfect. My daugher loves it. She is in college so it saves her a lot of time. She straightens her hair almost daily.


Yeah...so i had the crappy $20 hair straightener from bed bath and beyond (long time ago decision) and it barely ever straightened any of my hair, leaving it curly just like it was before. It sucked! Compared to that, this is AMAZING! or compared to any straightener. it heats up in like 5 seconds, the gift box is definitely worth it, and it straightens sooo good! Makes your hair stay nice and pretty/shiny with the protecter and holds it with the styling spray (included). The case is also very handy when taking vacations and ur straightener wont break in it. This straightener had been great since I bought it back in November, but it decided to stop working this morning. It's strange that the straighteners I purchased at grocery stores for $30 lasted at least five times longer than one I bought for $100.


I've been straightening my hair for many years, always ending up with a lot of breakage and not quite the look I wanted. Finally, I invested in this hair iron and I will never go back!


This Chi is awesome! I especially love the nano feature! My hair is naturally curly so I am really enjoying my new straight style!


i belive the chi flat iron i got is counterfit from what i have seen on the farou web artical stating that products made in china are not the real thing along with other pictures showing other ways to see if the product is the real deal. i am gravely disappointed by this


I like this straightener a lot. It's easy to manoeuvre because of the size. Leaves the hair smooth. The only thing I don't like very much is that it doesn't have a variable temperature setting. Good price.
