This is my second CHI flat iron and I can't do without them. They are no doubt the best flat iron I have ever used. My stylist uses the same flat iron and you can really tell the difference in your hair when using this iron. Also, Farouk will guarantee the iron if something happens to it, even after the warranty has expired. The only complaint I have is there is no auto shut off, and there have been times when I have turned on the iron to heat up, and then did not use it at the last minue and forgot to turn the iron off. Thus it stayed on for hours until I got home. Overall, I am waiting for my first flat iron to be returned from Farouk and I will have two. Truly the best flat iron I have ever used and will continue to use the product. The day my first flat iron died on me, I immediately started looking for another one. My hair is very thick and wavy and this iron will straighten it out. Well worth the money to get the quality in these irons. I think the wider flat iron is a little better when it comes to really wavy, thick hair. I also use the blue CHI Nano blow dryer and I would not use another dryer, it is that good.


I just received this and have tried many flat irons. This one got hot in record time and straightened my hair way faster and smoother than the other brands I have tried. I think I am going to LOVE it!!


When I got this flat iron, because it was so small, I doubted it would do anything, because my hair is really frizzy and pretty curly, although it isnt tight curls. Anyway, the first time I used it my hair was perfectly straight. I was so surprised! The color is beautiful as well. The only complaint I have is that on the side of one of the iron plates, the paint is starting to come off, which is disapointing because it is only 5 months old. Over all this is a great product.

Farouk CHI GF1606 Turbo Digital 1" Spring Curling Iron with GFI plug

CHI Turbo digital curling iron for creating waves and curls. CHI's ergonomic design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.

Wasn't crazy about this Chi curling iron so I returned it. It did not heat up enough to be effective on my thick wavy hair. I use curling irons to take out the frizz and this just didn't cut it. It would work better on thinner hair. The buttons were rather flat and would get pressed easily if you held it in the wrong place - turning off the iron when you didn't mean to. I use a Chi hair dryer which I love and Chi styling products. But I was also disappointed in the Chi flat iron, which most people seem to rave about. After I returned this I bought a Hot Tools curling iron (for almost half the price) and am thrilled with it.

I love this product! It straightens my fine, thin hair very well. It also gets extremely hot so I usually have to go over each part of my hair once and it's completely straight. The only downside to this product is that you usually have to go over longer hair more than one time which takes a little longer. I didn't expect this with a Chi. It's totally worth it to buy this product, though! I still think Chi Flat Irons are the best you can buy! :)

I am very pleased with this curling iron- it works great as described and was shipped quickly- just a little pricey-


I absolutely love this curling iron and I use it every chance I get. (I'm normally a very lazy person who never wants to get up early enough to do my hair - but I do with this curling iron!)


I was debating between the Chi Turbo and Conair Infiniti for a 1" curling iron. I went with the Chi, figuring it would be a better quality product. I have long dead straight hair that rarely holds curl, so its always a challenge. This iron heats up quickly, is easy to maneuver, and doesn't pull at my hair. The curls come out nice although they don't hold tight very long, and my hair does frizz a bit, but not a lot. No damage to my hair, and it does leave a nice shine with no 'dent' marks from the iron. I probably need to try more hair products in combination with this iron for frizz-free hold.
I am satisfied with this product.
