The only downfall is the product has changed packaging. The container is no longer the same. So when I ordered 12 of them and they came to me in different bottles I freaked! I think amazon should post updated pictures and the seller should provide updated information.

This is a GREAT product but the sellers, Beauty Signature Group LLC. are rude, used foul language and hung up on me! I contacted Amazon and was strongly urged to leave feedback. Amazon provided me a refund. If you are willing to risk ordering from a company who will not stand behind the very products they offer AND are willing to put up with their aforementioned customer service, then by all means - buy from them. Otherwise, ignore them and shop elsewhere!


Best tool ever used on my hair, heats up fast, works perfectly, adds shine and covers a lot more faster than the skinnier version


This product lasted me only 6 months. To get it repaired I had to pay $40 dollars to Farouk Services. It took them 5 weeks. They sent me back a cheaper, NON CERAMIC hot iron! DO NOT BUY CHI!


I received my Chi iron very fast. I'm really satisfied with Top Discount Beauty's service. The iron was well wrapped and it's working perfect. Thank you!

I got this iron after getting a CHI and realizing that it does not have heat settings/control. All the salons that I go to carry CHI so I always wanted one... Since the biosilk iron is from the same makers, I'd thought I could try it out. I have no problems with it... It heats up really well, my hair does not get caught in the plates and it always comes out great. I would definitely recommend this iron to someone else.


I like being able to control the temperature and I love how shiny it makes my hair. The ONLY thing I don't like is that I can't 'lock' it shut. I travel a lot and it makes it easier to pack it when it's not opened. As it is, I wrap the chord around it and it's fine, but that adds undue wear and tear on the chord.

Otherwise, it's a great product and love the fact that it's the same company/quality of a CHI, but at a significantly reduced price.

I am really glad I found this online. I had bought one just like it a few months earlier at a retail store but my great little dog chewed through the cord and I needed to replace it and didn't want to have to pay the same.
I got a great deal and a great product. It doesn't pull my hair and it leaves it silky and shiny.
I would recommend this product. It is by the samecompany that manufactures Chi.
I think the shipping time was quoted as 4-5 days but I got in in 2 days! Even Better!


When I decided I was in dire need of some hair help, I scoured the internet for a decent price on a flat-iron. I found them from [...] bucks to over $[...] and I had no idea what I really needed. After reading tons of reviews and talking to my hair stylist, I discovered that Chis tend to burn out quickly and have electrical problems. I kept hearing good things about biosilk, but was scared by the lower price. I truly believe you get what you pay for....in most cases. I was sick of looking and the price was sounding good, so I went for it. I'm so glad I did, this product has saved my hair! I get silky, shiny hair in no time! Just to give you some perspective, I have really thick hair, but it's pretty stick straight, so I'm using a flat-iron for frizz prevention and shine and that's exactly what I get. I would definitely recommend this iron.


I love my BioSilk Chi iron!! It's exactly what I have been needed for the past ten years!! It makes my hair super straight, curly, crimped, or whatever I want!! It's so easy to use, and it doesn't fry my hair! It locks the moisture in for the whole day/night! Anyone who is thinking about spending $150 or more on a Chi, don't!! Just get this one! It's perfect!!!


Did I mention that I LOVE this iron?! I don't know what I would do without it! It straightens my hair beautifully and adds a nice curl to it that holds very nicely! It has many different temperatures that you can set it to and gets hot within a minute of you plugging it in. Would recommend to everyone!


I was very dissapointed upon recieving my straightner. It was not a CHI!!!!!! It said silky on the side, and did not come with a cute case as the other reviews said. It works decently and the temperature adjustment is a plus but if you are looking for a CHI, steer clear!
