CHI Silk Infusion does what it says and that is leaving your hair silky, soft with no frizz. Prior to using a flat iron I put a dime size amount in my hands and distribute it through my hair. It has a really pleasant scent that is not overwhelming. I then leave in the CHI Silk Infusion for a few minutes. Once I used the flat iron I noticed the difference in my hair right away. What I am left with is unbelievably scented, silky and touchable hair that looks as though I came from the salon!

Since having children my hair has become very dry and coarse. I have tried everything from Matrix and Paul Mitchell to cheaper drug store brands to smooth my unruly hair. I was even considering Kronos (over $100.00), I was so desperate! I wish I knew about this stuff months ago when I thought cutting my long locks off was the solution to end the frizzies :(
I was very disappointed to find that no matter what I did, the frizz stayed! Biosilk has given me the hair back before my hormones wrecked havoc on it!!! I am VERY satisfied with this product!

This product to me is just okay not out of this world great. For the money i thought it would be exceptional but their are alot of other products that are cheaper and work just as well. A word to the wise unless you have very long hair, dont add much of this product to it or you will end up with a greasy looking mess.


Amazon has the best price around. The previous reviewer must be confused. Target does not sell this size for $11.99. They sell the smallest size for that price on sale, but normally $14.99. This is the next size up and normally sells at Target for $25.99 when it is not on sale. I almost didn't buy this here because I thought it was a mistake in the listing. There is no place on earth that offers this price for this sized bottle, unless you happen to find it in TJ Max. I did that once and will never buy those kinds of products again from that store. It is not good quality and as if it has gone bad or something.

I was impressed that Amazon gave top quality Biosilk for such a great price. However, it is not for thick, unruly and natural curly hair. It will do nothing but give you a pleasing smell, and the great fragrance does not last long. This is great for those with some frizzes and excellent for bed head where you dont want to do a full hair job in the morning--yet still look good after putting a little on and rushing out the door.

I would probably not buy this again, but recommend for those with a different hair type to try this out. It is the best price around and it is good quality, not the "over-priced yard sale, worn out quality" like TJ Max and Marshalls.


I LOVE this product for my hair. I have used it for years and was ecstatic to find it at such a GREAT price. I paid approx. $2 more for this bottle which is over TWICE the size of the one I "used" to buy. Thrilled!


My hair is extremely thick, unruly, and frizzy...so I've just about tried almost every product out there on my hair. This product was introduced to me about 6 years ago and I am still a fan! I've tried other "Silk Therapy's" including the generic kind from Sally's...it just doesn't compare to Biosilk! I use this product at the end, after I've flat ironed my hair and it makes it incredibly soft! The product smells amazing and moisturizes your skin good as well.

I've also discovered that this product is excellent for pressing my MAC Pigments. Before I used alcohol until some suggested I try Biosilk. Biosilk has the same ingredients that CostalScents.com use in their "Pigment Pressing Formula". When I tried it, the pigments came out perfect! Much better than when I used alcohol. It caused no irritation to my eye since Biosilk can be used on the skin. My pigments also became more vibrant and easier to blend on my skin.

All in all, this product has multiple uses: hair, skin and pigments. Definitely worth the money and the small bottle lasts me atleast 3 months. You don't need to use a lot of this product, I use about the size of a dime each time and it works great!


I love the smell, I love the way my hair looks but, I don't know if it's as great as people say. It's very expensive and I don't see why. It's not exactly like other products on the market but there are similar ones. Pantene sells a silk product and it's cheap and garnier fructis sells a product with some of these ingredients for much less. I do like this product though. It smells great and gets the job done. It does last a very long time, but so does the gargier fructis product under their sleek & shine line, its called weightless anti-frizz serum. I don't think the garnier fructis product smells as great biosilk though. I probably will buy it again because like I said, nothing else is exactly like it. When I use it I get all sorts of compliments about my hair like "Your hair is like Barbie hair! It's beautiful!" It seems to protect my hair from all the straightening I do, but it does take away some of the volume!


I have stick straight hair; naturally brunette with really light highlights that have been brutal to my hair. I bought this at a discount beauty supply company, and have been thrilled with the results. A couple drops in my hair and I can comb it through! It dries smooth and silky. More for a sleeker look and a little less if I want more texture.

I have also noticed that my hair condition improves as I continue to use this (probably due to less stress on the hair overall)

The smell is wonderful, reminds me of the old Breck Shampoo (in a good way) very clean.

My two year old daughter has total curly ringlets, and I use this after her bath, and I can immediately comb right through them (time and sanity saver). Plus, with summer humidity, her hair just curls up into neat ringlets instead of frizz. I am sold.

Like the others have said, start on the roots and work your way up. Too much on the roots will weigh your hair down.

I bought the big 11 oz size in October. I use it for both of us and and 10 mos. later, I have a little less than half left. I would have paid full price for this and have been completely satisfied, if not blown away.


This is a good item...It definitely makes your hair feel silkier when used with curling irons...The light smell is wonderful and it does not weigh your hair down like most over products. It is a little pricey for the size though...I would recommend because it does what it is supposed to do.


My friend recommended this to me, but it is so expensive. I found it for $17 which is half the price, so I purchased it. I did read all the reviews on it, and every one said that you don't have to use much and it makes your hair very soft. I must say, it is true. You really don't have to use any at all, and I have really, really thick hair. Plus, my hair is even softer now, and I LOVE that. It looks healthier too, and I've only used it twice. It's worth the $.


This is the best "shine" drop product since they came out with the stuff. You only need a little and it goes a long way. It is very lightweight so you don't have to worry about greasing your hair up if you accidentally over do it.
